Corrections and suggestions are genuinely welcome. If a result looks wrong, please tell me — the engine is tested, but tests only cover what someone thought to check.
There is no contact form, because a form needs a server that stores your message. Email keeps your data with you and your mail provider.
What to get in touch about
- A result you believe is incorrect.
- A calculator or feature you would find useful.
- An error or an unclear passage in the written explanations.
- Using these tools in teaching material, a lab manual or a course.
- Consulting work in electronics and embedded hardware design.
Reporting a wrong result
This is the most useful message you can send, and a specific report can usually be investigated the same day. Please include:
- The address of the calculator page you were using.
- Every value you entered, with its unit.
- The answer the tool gave, and the answer you expected.
- The Copy button beneath the derivation puts the full working on your clipboard — pasting that into the message covers most of the above in one step.
Response time
This site is maintained by one engineer alongside other work. Expect a reply within a few days rather than a few hours. Reports of incorrect results are prioritised over everything else.
Why there is no contact form
A working form needs a server to receive and store what you type, which would mean collecting and holding your personal data. Email keeps your message between you, your mail provider and mine, and lets the privacy policy stay as short as it is.
