1. Use of the calculators

You may use every calculator on this site free of charge, for personal, educational and commercial engineering work. No account is required and no attribution is expected.

You may not resell the tools as your own product, embed them in a frame on another website, or republish the written content of this site without permission.

2. Engineering disclaimer

This is the clause that matters most, so please read it.

Results are provided for reference and education. Component tolerance, temperature coefficient, voltage and power derating, ageing, magnetic coupling and real operating conditions remain the responsibility of the designer.

You must independently verify every value before using it in a product, and particularly before using it in anything safety-critical — including battery systems, mains-connected equipment, medical devices, vehicles and aviation.

The assumptions built into these tools are listed on the About page. Please read them before relying on a result.

3. No warranty

The site and its calculators are provided "as is" and "as available". While the engine is tested against closed-form results, no software is free of error, and no guarantee is given that results are accurate, complete, uninterrupted or fit for any particular purpose.

4. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, NeoCircuits Lab is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of this site or from reliance on its results, including damaged components, failed designs, project delay, lost data or commercial loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

5. Content and intellectual property

The written explanations, worked examples, diagrams and page designs on this site belong to NeoCircuits Lab. The underlying physics does not — the formulas are standard and free for anyone to use.

You may quote a short passage with a link back to the page it came from. You may not republish whole pages or reproduce the site in substantial part.

6. Links to other sites

Where this site links to a datasheet, distributor or reference, that site is outside our control and we accept no responsibility for its content or availability.

7. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the current version.

8. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site, are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.

The courts of Bangladesh have exclusive jurisdiction, except that nothing here prevents you from bringing a claim in another forum where the law gives you a non-excludable right to do so.

If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force.
